If you are like me and have an old iPod with crappy battery life, you will receive an extended warranty and $50 service credit according to
this article on Yahoo News. The $50 credit will apparently be able to be redeemed at the iTunes Music Store or at Apple Retail stores. Consumers that are affected will be notified by e-mail, direct mail, and advertisements in USA Today and Parade magazine next month. I guess I’ll be receiving a few e-mails.
