I was excited when I saw this post on Om Malik's blog -- Colorado voted not to tax VOIP. I live in Colorado and I use Vonage, so I'll appreciate the savings.
This bill appears to have died. In other words, no exemption for VOIP as of now. Most other states that have addressed it to this point have decided to tax it. Many have not specifically addressed it, but some states have defintions of telecommunications service written broadly enough to include VOIP by default.
Hey... Interesting post on voip telephony. By the way... Just found this resource where you can post your own articles on voip telephony - if you have something you want to share with the world. Besides, at the same time you'll get a link back to your own site on anything concerning voip telephony - or whatever else you'd like... why don't you check it out for yourself now...

Hello, nice stuff on your site. I need to spend more time on my site about VOIP and other voip service comparison stuff. Thanks for some ideas.
