As a research-based recruiter (who has also been an outplacement consultant), I find this service quite interesting and logical, and certainly of value to jobhunters.
As I think we all know, looking for a job is a job in itself. Although I personally think a very small percentage of people I deal with will actually find their "dream job" via the Internet, this service enables them to spend more time preparing for job interviews, meeting with potential employers and networking.
Normally, it would take the average person ummm... almost all morning or afternoon, if not all day, to apply for 10 jobs online. (Even more time for them older folks who don't know beans about online job searching, and can only imagine the magic they've heard about that young whipper-snapper nephew of theirs who found a great job just by pressing a few buttons on his home computer, using the world wide web! heehee)
