LIVE STRONG

So I'm a little behind on this, but if you are anywhere near a Nike Store, you should stop by and pay a buck for a Live Strong yellow bracelet (chances are that you've seen people wearing them but didn't know what they were).  The whole cost of the bracelet -- $1 -- gets donated to the Lance Armstrong Foundation in support for cancer research; in total, they are trying to raise $5 million.  In addition to being for a great cause, your wearing of the bracelet shows your support for Lance Armstrong during the Tour De France race.

If you can't get by a Nike store, you can order a band online here.

As I pointed out to one of my single friends: if nothing else, the $1 bright yellow band is a very inexpensive conversation starter.

I've been searching for a live strong band for a long time. Every time I look at a website containing the bands it just says "This page can not be shown because of maintenance problems". I'm only ten, but I still really want to be supportive, because my grandma is a cancer survivor. If anybody has an extra youth size live strong band that they are selling for the cancer society, please contact me at the following e-mail address: bbscout9@yahoo.com

Hi! My name is Erin. I'm 16 (turning 17) and my mother had lung cancer and passed away when I was 14. I just found out about these bracelets. Does anyone know how I can order one through the mail? I don't have a credit card otherwise I would just order it. Plus I live in a small town with little stores. Any info would be great. Thanks so much. Have a wonderful day everyone!
